Welcome to Sherwood Youth Football
The Sherwood Youth Football Association (SYFA) provides the children in Sherwood an opportunity to play competitive football in a safe, structured and enjoyable environment.
We teach discipline, responsibility, perseverance, teamwork and sportsmanship knowing that lessons learned through youth sports will further benefit players in their everyday lives. We recognize that children learn best through example and will actively encourage all coaches and board members to model these core values.
Our organization remains committed to maintaining a no-pay-to-play structure so that we can provide children from all economic backgrounds the opportunity to participate in a youth sport.

Registration for tackle football (3rd-8th grade) and flag football (K-4th grade) is now OPEN!
Registration for tackle closes on July 16th.
We can hardly wait for another fantastic football season!

2023 New Youth Football Officials Wanted
We are in the process of selecting new officials for the 2023 Sherwood Youth Football Season and are accepting possible candidates for this opportunity. Qualified applicants must meet the following criteria: * Be a High School Freshman for the 2023-2024 school year * 3 years of youth football experience as a player * Available for required training - usually one day in early summer and an on-the-field training day closer to start of the football season * Willing to spend the time necessary on Saturday/Sunday throughout the football season
Bowmen Youth Football Camp
Bowmen Youth Football Camp Registration is NOW OPEN! This camp is hosted by the Sherwood High School coaches and athletes, and is a fun way to get kids excited about the upcoming fall football season!
