Welcome to Sherwood Youth Football! SYFA offers a full-contact football program for 3rd through 8th graders living in the Sherwood School District boundaries. It is the intent of Sherwood Youth Football to provide playing opportunities for the kids of Sherwood. Therefore any players living outside the Sherwood School District will not be eligible to play in our association.
Mission Statement:
The Sherwood Youth Football Association (SYFA) will provide the children of Sherwood an opportunity to play competitive tackle football in a safe, structured and enjoyable environment.
Core Values:
Our organization remains committed to maintaining a no-pay-to-play structure so that we can provide children from all economic backgrounds the opportunity to participate in a youth sport. We will teach discipline, responsibility, perseverance, teamwork and sportsmanship knowing that lessons learned through youth sports will further benefit players in their everyday lives. We recognize that children learn best by example and will actively encourage all coaches and board members to model these core values.

If you haven't gotten a physical yet, Joe's will be offering cost effective sports physicals at their Beaverton store location on May 31st.
